Our Commitment

Level 5 is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We believe that every person deserves equal access to information and functionality on the web, and we continuously work to improve the accessibility of our website and the products we build for our clients.

Standards We Follow

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines are developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and represent the international standard for web accessibility. Our efforts include:

  • Maintaining sufficient color contrast ratios throughout our design system
  • Providing meaningful alt text for all images and visual content
  • Ensuring full keyboard navigability across all interactive elements
  • Using semantic HTML to support screen readers and assistive technologies
  • Designing responsive layouts that work across devices and zoom levels
  • Testing with assistive technologies including screen readers

Accessibility in Our Client Work

Accessibility is not an afterthought in our engagements — it is built into our development process from the start. Every system we build for clients follows WCAG 2.2 AA standards as a baseline, and we work with clients to meet stricter compliance requirements (such as Section 508 or ADA) when applicable.

Ongoing Efforts

We recognize that accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a one-time checkbox. We regularly audit our website using automated tools and manual testing, and we incorporate accessibility reviews into our development workflow. Our team stays current with evolving accessibility standards and best practices.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas of our website may not yet fully meet all WCAG 2.2 AA criteria — particularly our canvas-based background animations, which are decorative and do not convey essential information. We are actively working to address any gaps.
